The Schuberth SP1 Carbon is the brand's first motorsport helmet to meet FIA 8859-2015 and Snell SA-2020 standards. The SP1 Carbon model is directly derived from the Schuberth helmets used in the top of motorsport, including by Max Verstappen. Like all other Schuberth helmets, the SP1 Carbon is handcrafted by the same specialists who also make Formula 1 helmets. When it comes to quality and finishing, every detail of the Schuberth SP1 has been meticulously considered, making it difficult for competitors to match.

The Schuberth SP1 Carbon FIA 8859-2015, like the other Schuberth helmets for motorsport, is developed using a wind tunnel. This makes the helmet extremely aerodynamic. By incorporating various ventilation channels throughout the helmet, cool air easily enters the helmet and warm air can easily escape. In open air, at a speed of 100 km per hour, as much as 14 liters of fresh air enter the helmet! Due to the high number of ventilation channels, the SP1 is also very suitable for use in closed vehicles.
The Schuberth visors are all 3 mm thick and 3D injected for maximum safety. In addition, all visors come standard with the Pinlock 120 system to minimize fogging. The visor closure has two positions and is centrally located, ensuring symmetrical closure.
The cheek pads are equipped with cable channels, making it easy to install a communication system.
