The Bengio Bumper Carbon is a handmade rib protector consisting of 2 shells built from 3 layers of fiberglass and carbon. The shells are lined with 8mm thick foam on the inside. In addition to impact protection, the foam also provides necessary comfort, especially since the rib protector is worn under the racing suit. The use of carbon makes the Bengio Bumper Carbon lighter and stronger than other rib protectors.
