All the experience that Arai has gathered over the years, including in Formula 1, is incorporated into the Arai GP-7 SRC ABP. A new type of carbon has been developed by aircraft manufacturer Boeing specifically for Arai, with special specifications. This type of carbon, like standard carbon, is lightweight and very strong, but has a special flexibility as an additional feature. Due to this extra flexibility, the helmet can absorb an impact without the material of the helmet splintering or shattering, a major advantage compared to composite helmets. The Arai GP-7 SRC ABP has perfect aerodynamic properties, improved ventilation, and an unparalleled fit. This makes the GP-7 SRC ABP full-face helmet the ultimate motorsport helmet. All Arai GP-7 SRC ABP helmets come standard with a spoiler kit (PED set), Emergency Release System cheek pads, HANS clips, an extra set of ventilation channels, an extra screw set, and an anti-fog clear visor.
