All the experience that Arai has gathered over the years, including in Formula 1, is incorporated into the Arai GP-7 SRC. For example, aircraft manufacturer Boeing has developed a new type of carbon with special specifications specifically for Arai. This type of carbon, like standard carbon, is lightweight and very strong, but has the additional property of exceptional flexibility. Due to this extra flexibility, the helmet can absorb an impact without the material splintering or shattering, a major advantage compared to composite helmets. The Arai GP-7 SRC has perfect aerodynamic properties, improved ventilation, and an unparalleled fit. This makes the GP-7 SRC full-face helmet the ultimate motorsport helmet. All Arai GP-7 SRC helmets come standard with a spoiler kit (PED set), Emergency Release System cheek pads, HANS clips, an extra set of ventilation channels, an extra screw set, and an anti-fog clear visor.
