The underwear is made from an innovative flame-retardant fabric developed by Alpinestars themselves called Lenzing FR, which is more elastic and better breathable compared to traditional Nomex underwear. In addition, this fabric offers very good thermal properties, meaning it is more flame-retardant than similar underwear from other brands. With a weight of only 205 grams per square meter of fabric, the Alpinestars Evo v2 underwear is ultra lightweight.
