HANS systems
The HANS system (Head and Neck Support) is crucial in motorsport for protecting drivers' necks and heads during an impact. This system, which is attached to the helmet and rests on the shoulders, prevents the head and neck from moving too far in a collision. The HANS system distributes the forces that occur during a crash, significantly reducing the risk of serious neck and head injuries. Mandatory in many racing classes, this system has saved countless lives by increasing driver safety. Pro-Racing sells HANS systems from the brands Sparco, Stilo, and Stand21.

Hybrid systems
The Simpson Hybrid system in motorsport is an advanced head and neck protection system designed to enhance driver safety. It combines the benefits of a traditional HANS system with additional protection for lateral and rearward movements of the head and neck. This system offers a higher degree of flexibility and comfort without compromising on safety. The Simpson Hybrid system can be used with virtually all helmet types and is easy to integrate into existing safety equipment, making it a popular choice among both amateur and professional drivers.

Accessories
Both for the HANS system and the Simpson Hybrid system, various accessories are available for purchase. Think of, among other things, the clips for the connection between the helmet and the neck protector, but also tethers (the 'strings attached to the neck protectors) which need to be replaced after an impact. Pro-Racing sells accessories for FHR systems from Simpson, Stilo, Schroth, and Schuberth.
