With the Garmin Catalyst Driving Performance Optimizer, you can easily and quickly get answers to these questions and the system will immediately tell you what you can improve to achieve an even faster lap time. This can be done both after the driving session and during it with real-time spoken Dutch instructions. These instructions can be listened to on the system, but it is also possible to connect via Bluetooth earphones or a car radio. The Garmin Catalyst is connected to an external camera which captures every driven centimeter in HD quality. Curious to see how that perfect lap looked? Or maybe you want to review that one corner from all the laps without having to watch the entire lap again? This is also very easy with the Catalyst. In addition to its coaching function, the Garmin Catalyst also serves as a lap timer. On the clearly readable screen, you can see your fastest lap time, last lap time, number of laps driven, session duration, and centrally on the screen, the adaptive delta time. So you can see at a glance whether you are faster in the current lap or not.

The Garmin Catalyst features a revolutionary True Optimal Lap functionality. By combining all the best times of each circuit segment, the Catalyst calculates what your optimal lap time could be. The system does this based on actually driven lines, so those that you should be able to repeat. The True Optimal Lap time is not a utopia, but a time that should be within reach.

The menu of the Garmin Catalyst can be set in any desired language, including Dutch of course. This also applies to the spoken instructions provided by the system. Virtually all circuits worldwide are pre-programmed, and when different layouts are possible on a certain circuit, it is also possible to select these. The Catalyst can be mounted using a strong suction cup, but also using a bracket that can be screwed onto, for example, the dashboard. This allows the Catalyst to be used in multiple vehicles. By creating personal profiles, it is also no problem to keep track of the data of multiple drivers in one car. When the next driver gets into the vehicle, it is just a matter of a few clicks and all the collected data is linked to the correct driver.
